Approaching the Tower

Aria visits Jerrison and tells him of his innocence. After telling him about his link to the Raven Tower, he tells her how to get there. By solving another dialogue puzzle with a Crowfolk, this time involving both note-taking and Jerrison’s advice, the player is granted access to the Tower.

Tower Ascent 1

The player tries to ascend the tower, sneaking past Raven Guards and ascending the tower floor by floor. Aria takes notes on the Raven Tower and Guards, which showcase their fierce loyalty to each other. Inevitably, she is caught and thrown out.

Reconvene with Jerrison

Aria and Jerrison meet back up, unsure of how to continue. In the meantime, Jerrison’s wings have fully healed. Now finally able to fly again, he soars above the Nest, finding different objects Aria can use to create a Raven Guard disguise for herself. After a bit, Aria gets the materials and creates a rudimentary disguise for herself.

Tower Ascent 2

Now disguised, Aria blends in relatively well to the Guards. She joins a watch, unaware that they’re patrolling the lower levels. Aria descends the Tower and sees a giant glowing machine that seems to be pulling shiny objects out of time. Aria jots this down quickly before breaking away from the Guards and ascending once more. While going up, she isn’t under any suspicion, letting players time to take as many notes that they missed as they so choose.

Throne Room

Aria and Jerrison enter the Throne Room of the High Raven, intent on proving Jerrison’s innocence and getting home. She reveals herself as a human, shocking the court. Speaking in the Crowfolk’s language, she tells the High Raven that she knows that Jerrison was falsely imprisoned, and threatens to destroy the machine in the depths of the Tower if he is not pardoned. Not wanting to lose his device, the High Raven pardons Jerrison. Jerrison takes Aria back to his home.

Jerrison’s Home/The Present

The two go to Jerrison’s true home in the Nest. It’s filled with different artifacts from a bygone era of humans. Aria is fascinated before seeing a newspaper on the ground. After picking it up, she sees that the woman in the front cover picture looks like her but much older. Before she can read the headline, she looks up to find herself transported back to her apartment. Aria is filled with newfound confidence and drive to discover more about how the world of the present becomes the world of the Crowfolk. She starts to write her thesis based on the notes she took throughout her time in the Nest. On the day of her thesis defense, she sees a green magpie outside her window, reminding her of Jerrison. She smiles and leaves her apartment.
