- Remove tower - Resolved.
- Aria is lonely? Let’s give Aria a buddy! Aria meets a tutorial crow (Jerrison) that frees her from the cryogenic pod to grab her pendant, but when Aria wakes up, he nervously watches Aria. Thinking Aria is like him, he helps her get her bearings, and he’ll show up at random points to warm Aria up to the world. (Potential Scene: Jerison gets hurt, Aria helps him recover)
- What does Aria feel about the Crowfolk? She’s definitely afraid of them, but also is fascinated by them due to her background in biological anthropology. She wants to study them, but whether or not she feels comfortable around them shifts throughout the narrative.
- What do the Crowfolk feel about Aria? Most of the Crowfolk are curious of Aria. They don’t quite know what she is, and some Crowfolk react negatively. (Example: Aria disguises herself as a crow to sneak through a large group of Crowfolk, but her bird mask falls off, and doctors immediately are called to help her “regrow her beak”)
- Room was fascinated by potentials of the world
- Make objective of understanding clearer to audiences - Look at NiER Automata for reference
- Can it be about more than understanding? Yes, it’s about finding space in the world. (Highlight Aria’s attempts to become more like the Crowfolk to stay safe/find belonging, and potentially a Crowfolk that wants to become more like her

- Play with shiny objects as core mechanic - collection? MacGuffin? Myst-style puzzles?
- Time Travel - Crows have built a time machine to collect shiny objects through time, Aria’s pendant gets transported with her alongside it - New Beginnings theme, brings in new life in old objects concepts
- With this taking shiny objects in time idea, lean into anachronism/nest aesthetic
- MOVE AWAY FROM RUINED CITY AND INTO NEST-LIKE CITY MADE OF ANACHRONISMS
