ADV: As an anthropologist tasked with researching future civilizations, Aria has already taken a fascination with the Crowfolk. She wants to study them, but since she is unsure whether they are closer to animal or human, she starts by sneaking around and taking notes of the Crowfolk. Players will have to get very close to Crowfolk to investigate their behavior, jotting down notes and staying as quiet and out of sight as possible.

FMV: Aria took a massive amount of notes in her field journal while in the world of the Crowfolk. Players will cross-reference her journal with footage in order to find clues, solve puzzles, and unlock more footage. Like TUNIC, finding clips and solving puzzles will give players more pages of the notebook.

EXAMPLE NOTEBOOK PUZZLE: Players find a clip of a group of Crowfolk squawking to each other. While it may seem like nonsense, Aria started translating it in her notebook. By listening closely to the footage and reading Aria’s notes, players will learn they were talking about Jerrison and his exile from the Nest.

ANOTHER EXAMPLE: There’s a weird glitch in a clip that showcases a set of numbers. By going to pages in the notebook that match those numbers, players will see highlighted letters. Putting them all together creates a word (ex. BEAK) and there is a 4-letter combination lockbox in the archive. Entering those letters into the lock opens up the lockbox, and inside is more pages of Aria’s notebook and a couple more reels of footage for free.
